Words have never been invented that can describe the joy (at least non-spiritual) that Danny brought to me, my wife & family. Somehow, magically, we felt like we knew him personally and yes, also felt at least partially the heartbreak with regard to his passing. As one other comment said by a former ballplayer teammate in college. Las Vegas WILL NEVER be the same. We totally agree with that analysis. But knowing that he is with Our Lord in Heaven makes the pain that much lighter. God Bless his family.

I was fortunate enough to see Danny 4 years ago at the Mirage. The man who "auditioned" Danny in front of a live audience, impromtu many years ago, was in our audience that evening. I do not recall his name, but he was introduced by Danny. He then stood up and addressed the audience...referring to Danny as the "greatest entertainer in the world". Hmmm. Okay. The show was awesome to say the very least. Thank you for carrying on as a family with your own identities, while honoring the memory and living rememberance of Danny Gans.

To me Danny was the best,I work as a singer impressionist myself and Danny was a huge inspiration and key to my own success.I remember the day I seen him at the Rio in Las Vegas, it was the highlight of my trip.It also changed my life forever.
The day of Dannys passing I cried as if I lost a family member.
Best wishes to the family.

I saw Danny perform back in 2006 at the Mirage while attending a DJ convention in Vegas. Danny was the greatest (right there with Elvis) and will be missed! Please keep this website going and adding more videos!!! Thanks and God bless the Gans family!

Lee Liberace, Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Perry Como, Wayne Newton, Dean Martin, Englebert Humperdinck, Siegfried and Roy and their tigers, Danny Gans, these performers represent the inimitable reflection of Las Vegas itself. You don't truly appreciate what is there until it is gone and you cannot experience it again.

It will be one year ago, this Easter, that I will have had the pleasure of hearing an "alive" and happy story about Danny. I am best friends with his sister, Peggy Gans. I cannot think of a time, within our daily conversations, that his name does not come up. She misses him emmensely and still speaks of him as if he is right there with her. Their talks of Bon-Jovi, his work ideas and when he could not speak to rest his voice for the show, their text messages. I will never forget being asked to go back stage for my birthday as a surprise from Peggy, to actually meet Danny. I remember his hugh smile, his hug and telling me he felt he already knew me from his conversations with Peg. He asked my favorite part of the show and I immediately said when he did "Phanthom of the Opera" long ago. He smiled and asked me to give Peggy the original cut of his new CD as he valued her imput before it's release. Needless to say, he did "Phanthom" for me and I cried my eyes out!! I love hearing the stories of Danny from Peggy, and love remembering my own. To this day, I can walk into Peggy's house and see her memoralizing of Danny with wall to wall pictures of Danny and his celebrity guess from the show. She can tell me who, when and where as these pictures were all signed with notes from Danny like, "We made it, Peg" or I love you Peg, from your little brother, etc. I listen and can feel her loss. She tells me, "I didn't loose Danny Gans the entertainer, I lost my brother. People just don't understand that".

Played ball with Danny in college. Danny always had us laughing in the clubhouse, in the cafeteria, or wherever he had the chance to do some of his impressions. Saw him many times in Vegas and never anything less than great. Met with Danny backstage 2 years ago and will cherish our last meeting. I've been to Vegas twice since his passing and it just isn't the same. Best wishes to his family.

Danny Gans was an huge inspiration to me. I have been doing singing and celebrity impressions since I was five years old and after seeing Danny perform a few years ago at the Mirage, and blow away the audience, I finally decided to turn professional and share my talent with people too.

I have seen all the great impressionists and Danny was the greatest showman of them all. His tributes to the legendary singers and movie stars did them proud. There will never be another like him.

God Bless you and your family, Danny.
