Danny Gans remarkable show at the Mirage is one of those experiences bound to earn an unforgettable place in your heart and mind. The award-winning impressionist-singer-comedian-actor-dancer would probably prefer that father and husband prefaced the list of words that describe him best. He poured his heart and soul into building a new career in the entertainment business. He spent 15 years on the road, singing with bands, doing stand up and honing his knack for impressions. It was time well spent. Gans became the most sought-after act on the coveted corporate entertainment circuit, where performers could earn more in one night than many entertainers earned in a year. The demand for Danny Gans popular show led to performances in stadium-size arenas for major international companies like IBM and Heinz. At the same time, Gans was a familiar face on television, with appearances on Roseanne, Married With Children and as a regular on Fox TVs open House. He played Dean Martin in the CBS mini-series Sinatra and had a recurring role on the popular late-night drama Silk Stalkings. He made his big-screen debut alongside Kevin Costner in the hit movie Bull Durham, in which Gans played shortstop Deke Rivers. A one-man show in California opened the door to every performers dream an original show on Broadway. Although the hard-to-please press praised his Broadway production, Gans decided to bring his talents to Las Vegas, where he could settle down to a life with his family. He showed his true character by putting his family first. Since arriving in Las Vegas, Gans feels doubly blessed. He has a wonderful life with his family, which includes his wife, three children and their dog Sadie, who Gans refers to as his fourth child. He has taken the Las Vegas entertainment scene by storm. Gans has continually broken box-office records and garnered awards for his astounding show. Now firmly ensconced in his own theater at the Mirage, Gans sells-out each performance weeks in advance. He has captured the hearts of countless visitors, who describe their experience at Gans show as unforgettable and touching. He has earned the respect and admiration of his peers, including Bill Cosby and Joan Rivers, who describes Gans as incredible!
