Thank you for sharing your vacation memories, may God strength be with all of you
It’s been a year since Danny left us for his new journey and he is still missed so. My husband and I had the pleasure of seeing him at the Mirage and enjoyed it very much. Can’t wait for his DVD.

My wife and several freinds saw Danny on two separate occasions and the last time was his second to last show. Front row seats, amazing. I thought Danny was one of the most talented entertainers I have ever seen. I could watch him go on and on with his impressions and what a fantastic voice he had. I hope his DVD comes out soon, we have been waiting for that since he passed, there are so many people out there who have seen him and want to revisit the joy they felt at his shows and for those who never were fortunate enough to see him in person, they would be able to see his greatness through the DVD performance. Can’t wait!!! RIP Danny.
Thinking of your family as you deal with the first anniversary of such a special man’s passing. I enjoy the CD Danny made, and I lift you all up in prayer whenever a song comes on from that CD. I pray your days are gifted with special surprises that remind you of him and give you hope.
It is hard to believe that Danny left one year ago to be with out Lord and savior.
I was very blessed to know Danny and even goy engaged backstage in his dressing room.
I will always remember Danny as a great family man and someone who had faith in the man upstairs.
To Julie and the Gans family I want you to remember Danny as the man who made so many people laugh!
He was a good man and very generous in the Las Vegas community!
I know Danny is making them laugh in Heaven!
First of all I hope your are resting in peace My Friend on the anniversery of your passing. I remember it so so well. We arrived in LV May 1st,2009 at 3pm. To celebrae my 40th (may 3rd) with reservations to ever want to return to LV again. We lossed 2 special people in our lives a yr apart & i swore id never visit again. But exicted to make new memories & celebrate life the only thing i new would make it all right was DG tics. So seeing the markee at wynn i was devastated, this is a joke i said. But no all the news was about DG i couldnt get enough i cryed at the theater i stared at the markee with unbelief. Now i have lossed 3 special people who lived in LV. I hope your are making my Little Buddy (Morgan (5)& His beautiful Mama(Colly)41. laugh and smile. peace and love to your Family God Bless

I have thoroughly enjoyed the CD Many Voices, One Song that your Dad made. And every time I hear it play in my random play mode, I lift all four of you up in your loss of a wonderful man. I heard a song today, and I wanted you to know that we are lifting you up in prayer, and I will continue to do so because I will continue to play that CD. God Bless you all and give you moments of sweet laughter in your grief.
I was blessed enough to get to see Mr. Gans while on a business trip in 2003. As a singer myself, I was just in awe at the tremendous talent that God gave to one special person. I just wish I could have had the opportunity to take my little girls someday. This is the first time I have seen pictures of your family and I would bet any amount of money that Danny was more proud of you guys than anything he accomplished professionally! God Bless..

I have a lot of DG story’s and they’re all funny. If you didn’t get to spend time with Danny you missed
out. If you did you’re lucky. I spent years with him on and off the road and loved it. He truely loved to perform with all his heart but he loved Julie more than anything in this world more than himself. I’m mad at him for leaving us so suddenly. I’m mad I waited to long to visit, but I’m happy knowing I’ll see him again. Then I’m gonna beat him at some game even if we have to make one up.

To the entire Gans family,
I would like to say thank you so much for the great times and memories.I enjoyed Danny’s show more than anyone could ever imagine.I had the privilege of seeing the show 22 x’s and every show was better than the one before.I have many special moments but 2 stand out.The first was when Danny would talk about the love for his family, his daughter’s family portrait and how he ended up in LV and the second was when one evening i went to pick my tickets up at will call and was given a personalized, autographed picture that Danny left for me thanking me for seeing the show so much and dedicating that evening’s performance to me!There will never, ever be anyone like him again-he was the best! i will miss him!
love,
Ted Grippo
I can’t believe Danny has left. It was my privilege to write for and about him for many years. He lives on in our hearts and memories….he will never be forgotten.
My husband and I saw Danny at what, unfortuantely, turned out to be one of his final shows on April 21, 2009, also our anniversary. It was our gift from my mother-in-law. We weren’t sure what to expect, but what we got was far more than we had ever seen or have seen since. We vowed to go back and see his show again, when we could, and even told friends and family it was a “must see show in Vegas”. He is truly missed. The world lost a great man and entertainer the day he passed away.
I first seen Danny Gans perform at a weekend convention. I could not believe the pure talent this man had. It was before he made it to vegas. Danny renewed my belief that there was still outstanding, pure, clean, talent. He made me laugh so hard for at least an hour. What an outstanding performer he was.You could plainly see he loved what he did,and did it so well. Talent like Danny does not come along very often. Danny, we will miss you for now, but will see you on the other side my friend. God Bless you.
Danny Gans was an will always be a “SUPER STAR”. I first saw him years ago at a convention. Then again for a vacation trip out to Vegas. His talents were many and his flair with people was incredible!
I met him at a VIP cocktail party for a moment. at MGM. He was kind and gracious. He asked our names and later repeated them upon his exit from the party. He went out of his way to make ordinary people feel like “Super stars”.
“See you in heaven super handsome, super star, aww the angels must love you up there”
ROCK ON!!
GOD BLESS
“Katy Lizabeth”
I still find it hard to believe that I’m looking at a tribute to Danny Gans website. After having had the opportunity to share many intimate moments with him backstage, before shows, and out in public, I can honestly say that I’ve strived to live up to the incredible person that Danny was/is. What a bright light… how fun… how amazingly intelligent… how athletic… how gifted… how genuine. I will NEVER forget playing catch with him before so many corporate shows in set dining rooms with him wearing my favorite glove.
Dear Danny, I may remain stunned for the rest of my life that you have left this level of existence so early and so young. I expect to see you singing Elvis… ‘Gimmee some jelly donuts with a Slim Jim in the middle’ followed by “American Trilogy.” You can’t fathom how much I miss you.
Thank you so much, Amy, Andrew, Emily, and Julie, for making the effort to create this space. I hope that it serves as refuge for people to come and share in the Love of the Gans Family.
My best memories of Danny weren’t on stage, but on television. He made a cameo on “Roseanne” — ironically, as a Wayne Newton impersonator in a Las Vegas nightclub.
Few people remember that Danny was also a regular on the FOX series “Open House.” (In my humble opinion, Danny was — and always will be — FUNNIER than his costar, Ellen Degeneres!)
I vacationed in Vegas over ten years ago, and Danny’s image was on billboards all over town. Looking back, I regret never getting the chance to see him perform live.
My husband and I went to Vegas on our Honeymoon. He bought us tickets to Danny Gans. We both laughed so hard we cried. Later in the casino Mr. Gans walked by and my husband yelled out his name. He turned smiled and shook my husbands hand which made my husbands day. The fact that someone famous would take the time out and walk over and shake his hand. Mr. Gans was polite and down to earth. My husband told everyone at home about that. He died shortly after that. Every time I think of him I think of this story and Mr. Gans. Thanks for that!
Love and respect,
Carmen Glatt
Dear Gans Family,
I saw Danny for the first time several years ago but my wife couldn’t make the trip for my parent’s anniversary. Last year I was so excited to have a few days in Vegas with my wife. The treat was taking her to see Danny’s show at our hotel which provided great seats. Little did we know that show was Danny’s last. His show was wonderful and my wife said “I want to go again!”. That will never happen. However, as with those of us who lose a loved one, his memory will live on through the efforts of all of you. I will spread the word as I hope all of Danny’s fans will let others know that there is a wonderful web site that will make us all laugh again at the great spirit that Danny had. My prayers are with you all and I hope the kids will carry on the legacy their father left behind.
God Bless you all,
The Fleming Family
Orange, CA
I’ve never had the opportunity to see Danny live, however, I have watched many of his interviews, and of course, his dvd. In addition, I’ve listened to his cd many times over. Each made me either laugh/cry……….He was obviously a caring, unique, talented individual who left a significant lasting impression on many people. I look forward to reading his book! All the best to you, his family and friends ~ Thank you for continuing to share his memory……..
My husband and I and two friends from Ma. saw Danny about 4-5 times…whenever we went to LasVegas. Each and every occasion was memorable…just like the first. You left the theater smiling and shaking your head at such an amazing entertainer. I look at these videos and tears roll down my eyes and I can’t help but wonder WHY. Our loss is Heaven’s gain!
An amazing man….all around.
After seeing Danny on 60 Minutes in 2002, my husband, daughter and I went to see his show for my 60th birthday in July. It was 115 degrees when we drove into town from the Central Coast :0) There are no words to describe how much we enjoyed his talent. We bought the video when the show was over and must have shown it 20 times to different friends. We never got tired of watching it, but it finally broke. I recently ordered another copy. Can’t wait until the DVD is released. My husband and I went one more time to see Danny in November of 2002 with another couple who owned a plane so we flew in style that time. I know there must be a terrible void in your llives, but it must be comforting to know that he was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed!!
My wife and I first saw Danny’s show in 2006. We don’t gamble but we trekked to Vegas from CA every year after that as it became tradition for us to see Danny’s show every year, sometimes twice a year. We saw his show 5 times at the Mirage and once at the Wynn. We can’t wait for his FULL SHOW DVD to go on sale. We wish there would be several versions of it since one version will not do justice to showcase the amazing God given talent Danny shared with his audience.
Unfortuneatly the only memories i have of Danny Gans are what i have seen on the DVD. I would have gone and seen him for the first time this year. Your book was an inspiration to me and it has made me strive even harder for my dreams. From your Aussie Fan Craig Clark
